Kyoei Shoji Company was founded in Tokyo in 1947 as Japan's historically first private company doing nationwide logistics operations for imported salt. Since then, we have been growing based on three major business lines such as salt, logistics and trading over the past seven decades.

The company name of KYOEI represents mutual prosperity for all stakeholders and SHOJI means trading firm.

Main base of our salt division is located in Kitakyushu city. We import raw sun-dried salt from the one of the world biggest salt pan in Baja California, Mexico, then grind, clean dry and package before final delivery to our customers.

Logistics division operates warehousing and land transportation business in Tokyo and Kitakyushu city. Warehousing business includes characteristic functions such as bonded storage, animal quarantine inspection area, distributive processing as well as newly installed constant temperature storage and so on. For transportation services, we operate fluoro-resin lined tanker lorries for liquid chemicals in Kitakyushu city.

International trading division has been engaged in China trade business for long years as an official core member of the Association for the Promotion of International Trade Japan (JAPIT). We are successfully expanding business area from trading to global services such as investigation, searching JV or OEM partners, contractors of chemical processes in collaboration with our overseas offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. Currently our business opportunities are increasing not only in China but South East Asia, Europe and the Americas as well.
