Our company was born in 1947 in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, as the first private enterprise in Japan to store and deliver foreign salt imported by the then Ministry of Finance's Monopoly Bureau to warehouses across Japan. Over the past 80 years, we have grown with our three main business pillars: the Salt Division, the Logistics Division that handles warehousing and land transportation, and the Trade Division that engages in import and export with China.

Our main business, the Trade Division, has two bases in China (Beijing and Shanghai) and has been involved in trade with China as a friendly trading company even before diplomatic relations were established between Japan and China, as well as being a long-standing member of the board of directors of the Japan International Trade Promotion Association. Our trade area extends throughout East Asia, including Taiwan and Korea, and our functions go beyond importing and exporting chemicals, mineral products, and food. We also provide a wide range of services in more intangible sectors, including mergers, searching for OEM partners, research, and assistance opening business offices.

The Logistics Division has large warehouses in three locations in Tokyo and one in Kitakyushu City, offering value-added warehousing logistics services such as bonded storage, designated animal quarantine inspection stations, distribution processing, and temperature-controlled goods storage. Based in Kitakyushu City, we also operate a land transportation business for chemical products and others in the Kyushu area with tank trucks.

The Salt Division is based in Kitakyushu City and imports, processes, and packages high-quality sun-dried salt produced at the world's largest Guerrero Negro salt fields in Baja California, Mexico, delivering products mainly to the industrial salt market in Kyushu.
